Joseph & family emigrated first to Amercia, returned to Germany then to
Australia. In 1880 they moved to Ipswich, then the Fassifern District, then
to Nanango. They returned briefly to Coochin before returning to Nanango
District. In 1907 Joseph and Caroline moved near their youngest son at Home
Creek near Wooroolin. He died trying to tighten loose timber, he fell of the
load landing on his head and died on the roadside. He is buried in grave no
227.
