Ludwig ("Louis") NIEBLING

n February 1844 Ludwig selected 40 acres (Portion 297A) on the slopes of Mt French above Templin. He buildt a slab and shingle house 18 feet by 12 feet, cleared 10 acres and made a waterhole to provide water for his family. Ludwig (Lewis) Niebling was born in Bavaria in 1833 and he emigrated to Queensland in 1862. Ludwig married Rosina (Johanna) Abel who was born in Wurtemberg in 1846.
